Student End of Year Gift Tag

It’s the end of another school year. The weirdest school year we’ve ever had.

An end of the year celebration for our students is what we normally do.

In elementary school, teachers and students long for the end of the year activities and countdowns. No matter how strange this school year ended up being, I still feel like Michael Scott when he is talking to Jim and avoiding saying goodbye.

Remember when Jim says we should save our goodbyes for tomorrow?

Remember when Jim says we should save our goodbyes for tomorrow?

If this were a normal school year, I would feel the same way. Save my goodbyes for tomorrow, knowing I’d see my kindergartners in the fall as new first graders.

I don’t want to dwell on what we can’t control. To take my mind off missing my kids, I decided to make a student appreciation gift so they can get something from me in the mail and also have “closure.”

I’m not a huge fan of giving my students sweets, so instead of mailing a donut (which would be gross upon arrival) I’m sending a donut shaped eraser! Kindergartners (and all elementary kids) love erasers, but they also love squishies. This gift combines both! Woo-hoo!

They look like real donuts, right?!

The I DONUT Want to Say Goodbye end of year tag is also editable in my TPT store!

So, if you’re looking for a fun and SWEET way to send something to your kiddos, go here and put this baby in your cart! You can print from home and order the donut erasers from home.

You can include an end of the year poem, handwritten note, or picture to make this gift even more special.

Another idea for student end of the year gifts are keychains! You can let students pick the one they like because we all know student choice is everything!
