Back to School and Kindergarten Readiness

Starting school for the first time is exciting and nerve wracking!  It’s such a big milestone for our children.

Kindergartners are full of energy and curiosity which makes them the most fun learners.  Kindergarten parents often have many questions about kindergarten readiness and what to expect.

If your child is heading off to kindergarten this fall or in a 1-2 years, then this blog post is for Y-O-U!

If you don’t have a kindergartner, no worries, I’ll have extra tips for heading back to school as well.

Who better to hear all the details from then a kindergarten teacher herself!

I’m dedicating the month of JULY to KINDERGARTEN & SCHOOL READINESS.

Every Monday, I’ll be publishing a blog post dedicated to the kindergarten/school readiness skills I feel your child must know to be successful.

So, mark your calendar for each Monday this month:

7/1 Kindergarten Readiness/Back to School Launch

7/6 Letter Identification

7/13 Number Identification

7/20 Fine Motor Skills

7/27 Following Directions

Even if you’ve had a kindergarten kiddo before and have a new one going this fall, it’s always nice to brush up on what kindergartners need to know as they start school.

If you don’t have a kindergartner, no problem there...ALL of our kids have been out of school since March, so it’s fair to say, we all need some reminders on how to do the dang thing.

Here’s what you can expect from me in the month of July:

  1. Helpful tips and tricks to get your kiddo ready for kindergarten/school.

  2. Insight into what teachers prefer kids come to school knowing.

  3. Ways to practice skills at home to have your child soaring above the rest.

  4. AND SO MUCH MORE!!!

Thank you so much for being a part of my journey.  My hope is you’ll become a weekly reader and friend!
